( Indoors & Kitchen )

  • SAFETY --  Winter Season
    There are some Safety Precautions with backpacks, bedding and clothing and the baseboard radiation.
    The heat in the house is baseboard radiation. The radiation piping that runs through the rooms, cabinets, closets and crawl spaces gets Very HOT ! (190+ degrees)
    It's Hot enough to melt heavy plastics, synthetic materials in backpacks, bedding,
    sleeping bags and clothing.

  • SAFETY --   Winter Season
    The Fireplace has
    a damper needs replacing, make sure damper is OPEN before using it.

  • SAFETY --   All Year Round
    Use the Camp Incident Report to report any damage immediately to HSLA.

  • HINT #1 -
    Telephone service is LOCAL Only!
    Use Cell phones for long distance calls.
    Emergency numbers are on the back of the 3 ring binder in the kitchen.

  • HINT #2 -
    There are 2 Microwave Ovens, Coffee Makers, some pots and pans, enough cups, dishes,
    plastic knives, forks, spoons, etc.

  • HINT #3 -
     Currently the TV is not working for TV Reception - VCR Only

    The Color TV. Use the remote to turn on/off TV & VCR.
    Press the TV button, then the power button to turn on/off the TV.
    Press the VCR button, then the power button to turn on/off the VCR.

  • HINT #4 -
    3 Bathrooms are available, 2 male and 1 female.
    The Designated Female Bathroom is located off the office (if required).
    Bring enough toilet paper for your unit's use.

  • HINT #5 -
    The Range Top is a glass top electric range, plan accordingly and
    Use Extreme Caution with (heavy) metal pot & pans.

  • HINT #6 -
    Bring enough trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels for your needs. REMEMBER to Pack out your trash.
